Helén Uhlin, Project Controller:

How does it feel to be part of Linköping Science Park?

It feels exciting and inspiring! There’s a lot going on the whole time, and I am curious to get to know my new colleagues.

How did you find us?

I saw the job ad which has been shared by my new colleague Cecilia Janzén and I got curious. I asked about the position, and felt that it sounded interesting and I applied.

What are you spending your days on here in the park? And what is your backstory, the short version?

I will work as Project Controller in a new project financed by the European social fund, digital competence for the companies competitiveness, that will start in September and run for three years. It will include compilations and financial reports.

I grew up in Jönköping, but moved to Linköping to study the financial program at the University after my studies. The last 28 years I have worked at Tekniska verken in Linköping in some different roles. My latest role was as an accounting officer for the parent company. I have a big interest in training and like to spend time in nature. I like to do gardening, both by my house and in my summer house outside Rimforsa. I also like to spend time with my family.

You have now been here a few weeks, what do you think is the best thing about working here with us?

I have not been here for too long, I started on the 1st of September. But I already noticed the big engagement from my colleagues in the projects where I work. There is drive, creativity and knowledge that I would like to get some of and learn of. It is a lovely context to be a part of!

Sara Karlsson, Ecosystem and Partner Manager:

How does it feel to be part of Linköping Science Park?

I am delighted to be part of Linköping Science Park, and it feels incredibly inspiring to work in this innovative environment. I was introduced to this opportunity through a friend who recommended applying for the job, and I’m very grateful for that recommendation.

What are you spending your days on here in the park? And what is your backstory, the short version?

In my role as AI Sweden Ecosystem & Partner Manager for the East regions, I focus on accelerating the use of AI for the benefit of our society, enhancing our competitiveness, and ensuring that AI benefits everyone in Sweden. Specifically, my regional focus is on engaging partners operating in Östergötland in our national collaboration efforts. My professional background includes my previous role at Region Östergötland, where I led a comprehensive feasibility study on how healthcare in Östergötland could strategically develop its competencies and invest in AI.

You have now been here a month, what do you think is the best thing about working here with us?

Having been here for a month, I must say that the best thing about working at Linköping Science Park is the incredible colleagues I have the privilege of working with, the dynamic and fast-paced environment, and the exciting challenges that lie ahead.

Jan Abrahamsson, Project Manager:

How does it feel to be part of Linköping Science Park?

After a stint in a large traditional consulting company, it feels amazing to be back in a context where I get to focus on what interests me the most and gives me the most energy, namely entrepreneurship, innovation and company building.

How did you find us?

Thank the power of AI and algorithms for that. It simply showed up in my feed that a business coach was needed for Swedish Scaleups and the match was evidently there.

What are you spending your days on here in the park? And what is your backstory, the short version?

As a business coach for Swedish Scaleups, which also includes scouting for relevant companies to bring into the program as well as development of the program content and delivery. My backstory is a mix between executive and top management team positions in tech startups/scaleups, board assignments, academic research and lecturing on entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as jobs within management consulting and business advisory.

You have now been here a few months, what do you think is the best thing about working here with us?

A very friendly and collaborative environment, which extends to the overall regional innovation ecosystem. Also, access to really good facilities and workspaces.
