At the end of the year 2023, we got a new colleague at Linköping Science Park. Tim Larsson is project manager for Sweden Secure Tech Hub and Visual Sweden. Let’s get to know him!

How does it feel to be part of Linköping Science Park?

It feels great! The environment is rich with innovations, collaboration and a shared commitment to always do and be better. I get to contribute to meaningful projects that have the potential to make real impact.

How did you find us?

I´ve worked at different companies in Mjärdevi the last couple of years and had attended some events but I don’t think it was until my recruitment meeting with Skill that I fully understood the magnitude of all that happens in the park. It really is a lot!

What are you spending your days on here in the park?

My focus is within Cyber Security and Visualizations. If you are a company that aim to increase your digital resilience please reach out. Right now I am working with a course at Linköping University called ”Grundläggande Cybersäkerhet” which I think is relevant for all people working in the tech industry. (The course is free of charge and the application period is open until March 4th)

I’m also a member in the process team for Visual Sweden, working with increasing inspiration and awareness regarding East Region specialization in visualization and image analysis.

And what is your backstory, the short version?

I have primarily worked with different types of digital transformation and development of digital products and services. I have experience of working in scale ups, large international corporations and within the Swedish support system for entrepreneurship and innovations.

You have now been here a couple of months, what do you think is the best thing about working here with us?

That’s easy, you get the chance to meet so many interesting and smart people and learn new things.
