Science to Business Matchmaking

All Marie Curie Fellows and companies in Sweden are welcome to join this activity to expand their network and explore new opportunities.

We would like to invite you to this special talent matchmaking activity between Swedish companies and highly skilled international talent. This activity has the purpose of connecting companies in Sweden with the best-qualified talents from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellowship, the European Union’s reference program for higher education and research. We want to invite all the Marie Curie Fellows who have successfully defended their thesis or completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Sweden to register and be matched with companies that need their specific skills and knowledge.

For participating companies this is a first step to meeting the talents that have studies and research experience in the following areas:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Economic Science
• Environmental and Geosciences
• Social Sciences and Humanities

The matchmaking tool

Cruitive provides the matching tool that matches companies and talents based on specific competencies to create the best match for all. Here you can find more information about how the matchmaking tool works.

Talents with the highest score

The talents who score the highest on the matchmaking tool, based on business needs and talent competencies, will be invited for a meet and greet.

What happens next?

If the matches are successful, the interested companies, such as non-academic organizations, i.e. businesses, small and medium-sized companies, research institutes, and public organizations can continue a recruitment process and apply for financial support in Vinnova’s call “Attract, integrate and retain international excellence by 2024”.

This can facilitate the hiring process of identified Marie Curie Fellows who have recently defended their dissertation or completed a postdoc in Sweden. Therefore, it is possible to apply for grants of up to SEK 500,000 to cover the salary costs.

When?

• This Science to Business Matchmaking will be held on an ongoing basis until September 10.
• Companies and talents can meet directly by booking meetings through Cruitive or their preferred booking system.
• All applications to Vinnova must be submitted before September 10. Also, it is possible to submit applications that haven’t been made through the matchmaking activity, in case there’s a company or talent that you would like to work with directly.
