How about a yacht of several tonnes that fly a couple of feet over water in a speed well over 40 knots, or an electrically powered boat influenced by the South American Electric Eel?

Principal Engineer Paolo Manganelli at Gurit Composite Engineering, will share state of the art of composite technology for high-end marine applications. Their experience of high-end boat racing spans over 30 years.

Bringing your friends out for some easy to handle fun and entertainment is the vision of the Baltic 68 Café racer. A key objective is to make it easy to extract performance from this yacht. Torbjörn Linderson, head of mast department and Johan Breder, head designer, at Marström Composite will share their deep knowledge of fibre composites and show their design tool.

X Shore embraces the long tradition of maritime craftsmanship while discarding the dirty institution of fossil fuels.  “We’re not here to reinvent the wheel, but rather to right the ship. To set a course for long-term sustainability that we can all be proud of”. Konrad Bergström, founder, will share his story.
