Toyota Industries Europe (TIE) is the European holding company of Toyota Industries Corporation’s (TICO) based in Japan. TIE hosts business units such as Toyota Material Handling Europe, Vanderlande and viastore.
TIE has more than 20 000 employees. Our business units are primarily operating in the material handling and intralogistics area. We have presence in all major European markets. Although our business has its roots in Europe, approximately 15% of our operations are conducted outside the continent, with a primary focus on the United States and Asia. We are now building up the capability in TIE to support our business units to drive synergies and optimize corporate services, improve corporate governance, and build critical competence for the entire group.
Your Position
TIE is expanding its team of the coordination office with an Executive assistant. In this position you will have a key role in supporting the Toyota Industries Europe (TIE) Management team, participating to the overall success of the company and that operations run efficiently. You will act as one point of entry and collaborate with colleagues from our different business units in Europe as well as TICO in Japan. In this role you report to Director Financial Control TIE, Åsa Hammarström.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage meetings including agendas, protocols, as well as building & compiling presentations.
- Plan and coordinate activities across the organisation to ensure consistent and effective branding.
- Contribute to internal projects and initiatives.
- Represent TIE in various forums.
- Travel administration.
Your Profile
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to organise and coordinate multiple projects at the same time.
- Administrative skills with experience in organizing meetings and handling documentation.
- Work effectively within a team while being self-driven and maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
- Quickly adapt to changing priorities and handle challenges with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Fluent in English, with a high level of proficiency in both written and oral communication.
- Experience from a similar role 1-3 years, preferably reporting to upper management.
- Post Secondary school or bachelor’s degree within economy, business administration, or law.
