Are you interested in making the world a safer place while working with both smart and friendly co-workers as well as cool and challenging technology?

We are primarily looking for you who have at least a couple of years from the industry, have done a couple of releases, sketched some designs and know how to deal with late change request and unforeseen bug reports. You get motivated from having a stable and complete product shipped to customer. Your willingnes to coach and mentor teams would be as important as your technical skills within software testing and test management.

Who we are?

Arriver is a new software company fully focused on developing vision perception and drive policy software for the next generation Advanced Driver Assist Systems and Autonomous Driving systems in vehicles. Although we as a company are new, we have a mix of experience from juniors to co-workers that have worked with vision perception for over a decade.

SOMETHING ABOUT ARRIVER

We have started working on our next generation vision perception and driving policy stacks. We are also very proud of our recent deal where a big German multinational corporate manufacturer of luxury vehicles decided on implementing our software in their cars. Therefore, we are looking for more co-workers that wants to join us in our vision to create a world where everyone arrives safe and sound at their destination.  I may sound as a cliché, but it is still something that we really believe in and work for.

Our organisation is centered around cross functional agile teams consisting of 5-8 members. While each team member contributes with their own skills and experience, the team cooperates to perform the different steps in development. The teams are responsible for all steps in development – including system work, implementation, and verification. Our teams innovate at the frontiers of engineering using technologies such as machine learning, tracking and 3D reconstruction.

We are trying to get close to the code for requirements and test handling, mirroring to specific tools e.g. Code Beamer to be customer agnostic. With common code, requirements and tests we have a better control of our releases.

Who you are!

We are not looking for a ninja, evangelist or some other buzz word term. Neither are we looking for someone that needs to tick all boxes in a list of modelling languages. We are looking for curious people   that feel inspired and motivated to work with combining human and artificial intelligence in our vision perception. We are looking for people who wants the job done, get the ball rolling, or check the last piece. You probably score good in at least one area.

Hopefully you like to do that together with your co-workers and with a smile on your face. We think that you will have a good foundation if you have a couple of years of experience test governance for a product.  We guess you have a Master of Science in machine learning, image- or signal processing, computer science or equivalent area.

We offer

A workplace where you contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology that aims to enhance road safety. We have the possibility to work when we are at our best with flexible hours and take care of our well-being with generous health and fitness reimbursements.

You also have the possibility to work from home part time. With us you get inspiring and sharp colleagues who like what we do and have fun at work. You get the chance to work with something meaningful and at the same time develop yourself.

What you’ll do?

First, you don’t need to have automotive background, we will teach you.

As a Test Lead, you support the program manager for all things related to verification and act as an engaged and contributing member to their team.

You do so mainly by:

  • Securing necessary prerequisites for verification – supporting the teams in having the right input, test strategy and test environments and know-how
  • Assessing and tracking metrics for tool qualification and requirement fulfillment
  • Coordinating all agreed project verification deliveries with the agreed scope and quality at the agreed time.
  • Documenting and actively communicating verification status and completeness of the project deliverables, coordinating deviations with relevant stakeholders, and providing a trustworthy release recommendation
  • Ensuring state-of-the art SW testing while adhering to company processes and global standards
  • Partaking in our test community and help nurture our company’s test culture
