EU names Linköping as Europe’s most innovative city

Bus company Östgötatrafiken is onboard the AI journey
Östgötatrafiken carried out AI Sweden’s maturity assessment to identify the steps needed to develop their organization with AI, gaining insights into current capabilities and future opportunities for using AI across operations.
How many toilets are needed in Mjärdevi Center?
AKKR8 in collaboration with property owner Sankt Kors teamed up to measure water and temperature flows in the building of Mjärdevi Center. This was enabled by testbed vouchers, handed out by Linköping municipality.

Fredrik Larsson is Chief Operating Officer at Linköping Science Park, where he leads the organization’s operational core – uniting projects, platforms, and cluster initiatives under one umbrella. With over 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, and strategic leadership across sectors such as consulting, banking, and insurance, Fredrik brings a broad and future-focused perspective to innovation-driven environments.
Since joining Linköping Science Park in 2017, Fredrik has played a key role in building the park’s visibility, brand architecture, and international reach. In his current role as COO, he is responsible for communication, international relations, investment promotion, and operational alignment. He also leads the park’s Impact Arena – a hub for driving cross-functional collaboration and societal impact.
The park’s initiatives span areas such as cybersecurity, AI, smart systems, and sustainable infrastructure – all tied to the mission of fostering ecosystems that promote technological progress and regional development. Through strategic leadership and an ability to connect the dots between vision and execution, Fredrik contributes to building the collaborative, knowledge-driven society of the future.
