Meet Oscar Spaak, one of the newest members of the Science Park Family! Learn more about that and about Oscar here!
Hi Oscar, how does it feel to be part of Linköping Science Park?
Humbling, in a good way, I feel a big responsibility to create value for our future.
How did you find us?
We have been going side by side since I joined the university 17 years ago, the best encounter was the time when we got sponsorship for our student association in entrepreneurship.
What are you spending your days on here in the park?
I will focus on 2 projects, AI Change agent and Agtech2030 Technology transfer. As an AI Change agent I will support small and medium sized enterprises in their AI transformation, with open lectures and personalized coaching. In Agtech2030 I will be a bridge between technology in the science park that has potential to be of value in the agricultural sector.
And what is your backstory, the short version?
Born in Cape Town, raised in Ucklum, a village on the west coast of Sweden. Growing up in Ucklum had its challenges since the culture was to keep things as is. I have always been a creative and multidisciplinary person looking for added value everywhere, thus leading me to look for a larger arena and more open arena. Linköping was that place and after my Masters in Computer Science and Engineering I have worked with innovation and adding value in both ideas, organization and foremost people. Today I grow figs, building a log house and compete in table tennis.
You have now been here a few weeks, what do you think is the best thing about working here with us?
The high level of trust and agility.
