A Flashback to November 7, 2024

At Dataton, the stage was set for celebration as Linköping Science Park marked its 40th anniversary. The day culminated in powerful speeches from Lena Miranda, CEO of Linköping Science Park, and Jan-Ingvar Jönsson, Rector of Linköping University. Both leaders reflected on the transformative journey of the city’s innovation ecosystem and its collaborative spirit.

Symbolizing this partnership, Linköping Science Park gifted the university a printed version of the iconic circuit board artwork unveiled by Prime Minister Olof Palme during the Science Park’s inauguration 40 years ago. This gesture not only paid homage to the city’s pioneering history in technology but also underscored its cutting-edge expertise in printed electronics. It also marked the transition of celebration from the park to the university.
