Meet Johannes, the newest addition to the team at Linköping Science Park. As Project Manager for Swedish Scaleups, he’s working to support companies on their journey toward expansion and impact. Learn more about Johannes, his background, and what he’s looking forward to in his new role.
Can you tell us a bit about your professional background so far?
I have been an entrepreneur for almost 20 years and have founded and run a number of companies in Linköping. They have all been based on research or development of new technology. Sales and business development have been important parts of my working days.
What made you interested in joining Linköping Science Park?
As an entrepreneur, I have at times taken part in valuable projects run by Linköping Science Park and other public actors providing support to companies. Now, I’m excited about the opportunity to shift perspective and contribute to activities that are of great benefit to the business community. I believe that my entrepreneurial background can be an strong asset in this context.
What will you be focusing on in your role here at Linköping Science Park?
Initially, I’m responsible for a project called Swedish Scaleups, which is active in five regions in eastern central Sweden. It is very interesting to take on a new role and to learn many new things.
What do you hope to achieve in your new role?
Of course, I hope to run my project successfully and bring the greatest possible value to the companies in the region it serves.
But I also hope that, with my background, I can contribute to the team at Linköping Science Park – helping us grow even stronger as an organization and become even more relevant to the companies in Linköping.
