In the heart of Norrköping’s city center, nestled between Strömmen and Laxholmen, IndX Demo Day was held in the house of Norrköping Science Park’s HOPE. It was a day when startups and corporate partners seized the opportunity to show their collaborative efforts and showcase proof-of-concept projects.
The day unfolded with Professor Magnus Berggren enlightening us on the world of printed electronics, delving into how printed organic electronics could potentially replace brain function and signals. This was followed by presentations from Ligna Energy showcasing their self-sufficient sensors, and DP Patterning unveiling their machine capable of crafting flexible circuit boards.
Representatives from both corporate partners and startups shared insights into their collaborations and proof-of-concept initiatives. Highlights included Philip Alm from Norditech demonstrating their collaboration with Toyota Material Handling, featuring an AI-camera Labeldetector capable of detecting barcodes on Toyota trucks and streamlining warehouse management.

Svenska Laserfabriken and Saab teamed up to outline their planned proof of concept about Svenska Laserfabriken’s invisible laser, particularly effective in night vision scenarios.
Pix Force and Saab presented their planned proof of concept-collaboration which is set to take place during 2024. They will together develop a computer vision system capable of detecting and classifying objects, with high accuracy and low response time.
Anders Erlandsson and Sarah Kenlind from Ericsson presented their report “10 Hot Consumer Trends: Life in a Climate-Impacted Future”. It sheds light on climate concerns and adapting to our rapidly changing world with connected systems.
The grand finale was a panel discussion featuring Anders Erlandsson, Research Leader at Ericsson, Process Leader for Visual Sweden Felicia Lai Jakobsson, Tomas Westlund, Project Manager at RISE, and competence team leader at IndX, engaging in insightful discussion on future trends.
IndX Demo Day was a day of reflection, highlighting the years of IndX’s journey and witnessing the results that have emerged over the years and pitch days.
