Tech Tuesday – How to shape a more inclusive future with AI and synthetic data
- 4 Mar 2025, 11:45-13:00
- Goto10, Teknikringen 7 i Linköping & remotely via livestream
In the light of International Women’s Day, we invite you to a Tech Tuesday-special on 4 March, focusing on how AI and synthetic data can either advance or hinder gender equality.
This event is an opportunity for everyone, regardless of gender, to engage in discussions about how we all can contribute to building a more inclusive digital world.
Join Ericka Johnson and Saghi Hajisharif from Fair AI Data for a thought-provoking discussion on the role of synthetic data in building a more inclusive world through artificial intelligence.
While many are aware that AI can be biased, tackling this bias is not straightforward. During this session, we’ll explore the relationship between synthetic data and bias and the issues of representation and hallucinations in synthetic data.
Key topics:
- How synthetic data can reduce bias and create more balanced AI systems.
- Practical ways companies can implement fair data practices to improve equality.
- The interplay of bias and synthetic data, and how hallucinations affect data representation.
- Case studies and real-world examples from Fair AI Data’s work on ensuring diversity in data representation.
We will highlight how fair technology benefits everyone, regardless of gender or background. Whether you’re passionate about equality, AI ethics, or work with data, this event will provide valuable insights on how synthetic data can help build a better world for all.
Register now to join this Tech Tuesday Special and be part of the conversation on how synthetic data can help build a more equal and inclusive digital future – for everyone!
