Lunch lecture
Tech Tuesday – Ericsson
- 17 Nov 2026, 12:00-13:00
- Dospace NOVA - Mjärdevi, Teknikrigen 5
Hey everyone,
I am David Partain, Manager at Ericsson Software Technology.
Join me for an insightful talk on the power of open source. With more than 27 years at Ericsson and extensive experience spanning research to product management, I’ll share a practical and strategic perspective on how open source continues to shape modern engineering.
We will explore how Ericsson leverages open source as a key driver of innovation, collaboration, and industry alignment—and what that looks like in practice for engineers building complex systems. If you want a clear look into how open source operates inside a global tech leader, don’t miss this session!
New to Tech Tuesday?
Tech Tuesday is Linköping Science Park’s free, recurring lunchtime event hosted in Mjärdevi. We meet 12–15 times a year, and everyone is welcome!
Good to know: This event is definitely at a high (or should we say) deep technical level.
On these Tuesdays, specialists who have spent thousands of hours in the depths of their fields will open up and take you on a passionate, deep-dive tour into the bits and byts of what’s coming next!
This initiative is run in close collaboration with a core group of local companies:
Nira Dynamics | Sectra | SICK IVP | Combitech | Ericsson
2–3 times a year, we also invite guest companies to take the stage. Interested in becoming our next guest speaker? Reach out to Christoffer Kamronn!
