New to Sweden and need help navigating the Swedish labour market?
Curious about Swedish work culture and want to find out more the required competences of tomorrow?
Join us for this exciting LIFT! workshop where we share our best practices, lessons learnt, personal journeys and recommendations!
Moving to a new country is hard and looking for a job makes it even harder. Luckily, there are many people that have made the same journey, who are also happy to share their personal stories and best recommendations to make the process of integration and adaptation easier for you. Consider this workshop a crash course in Sweden, particularly, the Mjärdevi area that is a home to one of the world’s most renown technologies and innovations; you will learn more about the skills that will help you stay competitive in the labour market of tomorrow, get valuable insights in Swedish work culture, practical do’s and don’ts – from tailoring your CV to make yourself attractive to a Swedish employer to staying up to date with new migration policy and visa requirements. Students will also learn about the opportunities available to do an internship or write their Master thesis at a company in Mjärdevi.
This event is for you if you are:
• New to Sweden and need some guidance on understanding work culture in Sweden
• International student (Masters and Doctorates) who want to stay in Sweden long-term
