From a simple booking service at a local gym to a complete booking and business system for the activity industry. Linköping-based Zoezi goes from upstart to challenger in her growth journey. It started at a gym in Åtvidaberg. Mikael Håkansson, one of the two founders of Zoezi, studied at the University of Linköping and, in his spare time, built a booking system for a gym owned by a clubmate. The solution was so popular that five years later, in 2013, there were several requests from other gyms. But Mikael realized that the technology had run away from the application and that a greater effort would be required to respond to the gym’s actual needs.
