Spring is finally here (if we choose to ignore the sporadic snowfalls…) and there is a lot of activity going on in Linköping Science Park. We have put together three tips on upcoming event during May that you just can’t miss, let’s get to it!
LUNCHKLUBBEN 12 MAJ, 12-13– Sociala robotar i äldrevården – hur ska man tänka kring utveckling, införande och utvärdering?
Användningen av sociala robotar i äldrevården har ökat sedan införandet av välfärdstekniksprogrammet och den här typen av teknik har uppmuntrats starkt inom offentlig sektor. Men den effekt som man hoppas att robotarna ska ge de äldre, exempelvis minska ensamhet och oro, är inte väl undersökt. Sofia Thunbergs forskning utgår från slutanvändarnas perspektiv, vad för typ av robotar vill de ha och vad ska vara robotarnas syfte, hur ska man införa robotar i verksamheten och vilket stöd skulle personalen behöva, samt hur kan man utvärdera robotarnas effekt och säkerställa att de gör våra äldre gott? Föredraget kommer utgå från de här frågorna och koppla dem till den pågående etiska debatten kring teknik inom vården. Avslutningsvis kommer tips på hur organisationer kan tänka kring en vård förstärkt av robotteknik.

At the event, on the 26th of May 2021 from 13.00-15.00 we facilitate online pitching and meetings between companies and researchers to help you find connections for the future.
