Since 1990, Lintek has awarded employees at Linköping University the Gyllene Moroten (in English translated as the Golden Carrot) who excel in teaching and pedagogical skills. Each year, every association at the Faculty of Science and Engineering gets to choose one person to nominate and become the candidate for the Golden Carrot. This year’s winner is Lars Johansson, Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Engineering, nominated for his passion for teaching and ensuring students understanding and engaging lectures.

The award consists of a golden carrot made of glass and prize money of 10, 000 SEK, and it means a lot for the university and the students who are nominating the teachers.

Celebrating educators who inspire students to future careers
One of the most significant challenges facing many companies is the lack of skilled individuals eager to contribute, grow, and evolve alongside the organization. To be able to do that, education is crucial. Linköping Science Park is happy to sponsor the Golden Carrot, putting the spotlight on educators who guide students through their academic journey and inspire them to future career opportunities.

All nominees together with Johanna Jakobsson, Responsible for Education at Lintek’s student union management team and Linköping Science Park’s Julia Bergman.
