Gleechi gained the interest of not one but three of the partner companies during last year’s IndX-process. When we met with their Commercial Director, Vanja Eriksson, they were just about to demonstrate the results of their common project with Saab.
– All the partner companies of IndX are extremely interested and knowledgeable within tech and innovation. There is a great will to engage in new areas and solutions which I find to be quite unusual for companies of this size. They are all very brave. It has been a real privilege for us to be introduced to and work with them, says Vanja about the interaction with the four IndX- partners: Saab, Toyota Material Handling Europe, Siemens Energy and Väderstad.
Gleechi delivers a VR- platform that separates from the lot by offering advanced hand movements which makes it perfect for training of practical processes. Their technology origins from robotics.
– Our technology makes it possible for people to interact with objects using their hands, just like in the real world. With our solution we can bring VR- training into areas like industries and hospitals.
An example of Gleechis work is their cooperation with Yrkesakdemins course in sterile technique where Gleechi has created a VR- version of the practical steps that the students need to practise. In this way the students have had more opportunities to practise and also a chance to practise remotely, which has been extra appreciated during the pandemic.
If we can give more people the opportunity to practise in VR, in a way we democratize education and make it more easily accessible to everyone. These visions for the future really excites and motivates me!

Democratize education
Vanja has her background within fintech and her fascination for sharing economy and the growth of the tech market led her to Gleechi.

Vanja states that she and the team at Gleechi are really pleased about the common project with Saab. Saab is an international company with employees all over the world and Gleechis solution can allow them to standardize training and send them out to large volumes of employees. When the results of the project with Saab have been evaluated the other interested partners will decide if they will go through with their own project.
– There is great value to test your product in a real life situation. And for us, to be able to do it with a big company with explicit needs has been amazing and we have learned so much. Of course we hope that the other partner companies will want to go through with their own projects as well. I have been in contact with all four of them, they have been very accommodating and left the door open to further discussions.
