Returning customers, vehicle certification, and the ACU6 platform. There are several reasons why order intake has increased sharply at the electronics manufacturer Actia in Linköping. The company is now in need of increased production capacity and is therefore investing heavily in its facility in Mjärdevi.

At the end of last year, Evertiq reported that the business had been certified in accordance with IATF 16949, a quality standard for systems aimed at the automotive industry, and an investment sum of SEK 157 million that resulted in the scalable telematics platform ACU6.

Now it is time for the next venture. Christian Sahlén, CEO of Actia’s operations in Sweden, tells Evertiq that they have recently made a board decision to invest further in Mjärdevi. As a result, Actia is now building a complete ASM SIPLACESX line with all parts – from screen-printing, to remelting furnace.
