PROMIS offers tailor-made advanced-level university courses designed to meet the needs of Swedish businesses and professionals. Registration for autumn courses is open now!

The rapid development of information technology, digital communication and software-intensive products and services has created a new era of opportunities. At the same time, it has also brought challenges in the field of security. PROMIS is an initiative to address these challenges and future needs by offering tailor-made online courses for security professionals.

“We see a growing demand for expertise in cybersecurity, and these courses provide a perfect opportunity for professionals to improve their skills and contribute to progress in these critical areas.” says Jesper Bleeke, Innovation Leader at Blue Science Park.

The courses are specially designed to suit professionals who need to combine work and study. All courses are available online and can be studied part-time. In addition, participants have the opportunity to bring their own cases and problems to maximize the benefits of the course.

PROMIS courses focus on security in data- and software-intensive product and service development. They range from how to integrate security into the product development phase to how to offer and operate products and services without compromising security.

The courses cover the following areas:

  • Computer and network security
  • Security in software development and testing
  • Intrusion detection and prevention
  • Malware analysis and digital forensics
  • Risk management and regulations
