Academic Meetup: University collaboration for stronger labor market connections
- 9 Sep 2026, 13:00-14:00
- Online (Online)
We invite you to participate in the upcoming Academic Meetup, a specialized network designed for higher education professionals who support international students and researchers in Sweden.
In this session, Therese Lindkvist, Project Manager for EURAXESS Sweden, will present an exciting national pilot project: “Lärosätessamverkan för starkare arbetsmarknadsanknytning för studenter och forskare” (University Collaboration for Stronger Labor Market Connections for Students and Researchers).
Funded by Tillväxtverket within the framework of the national task Work in Sweden, this project explicitly focuses on strengthening career paths for international students, doctoral students (PhDs), and researchers at Swedish universities.
The meetup serves as a platform to share the project’s core objectives, explore its upcoming initiatives, and build a collaborative space to exchange insights on how we can better support international talents in establishing successful careers in Sweden.
Please note: This event will be held in Swedish.
Who Should Attend?
This network is designed for:
- Academic and study advisors
- Career services staff and international office coordinators
- University leadership, management, and anyone involved in international talent retention and Sweden’s national competence supply (kompetensförsörjning).
