On June 1st, Linköping Science Park was visited by a Dutch delegation of cybersecurity companies coordinated by the Dutch Embassy. Under the guidance of Martine Koole and Meemee Ploem from InnovationQuarter, along with Sigrid Westman from the NL Embassy, the program was designed to actively involve cybersecurity companies looking for market opportunities. Participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions, attend informative presentations, take part in business matchmaking activities, and participate in networking events, all of which were organized in both Stockholm and Linköping.
After the delegation had a full day in Stockholm, Linköping Science Park had the privilege of welcoming the group to Mjärdevi and inform them about our region and the innovation activities of the Science Park.
At Goto 10 Linköping, the group was provided with a presentation by CEO Lena Miranda about the history and innovations of the Science Park which was followed by presentations of two notable initiatives: Cyberly and IndX.
The local cybersecurity cluster Cyberly serves as a catalyst for knowledge exchange and cultivates a robust and resilient business ecosystem, uniting companies and experts in the region. The IndX initiative operates as a global startup arena, forging connections between innovative companies and four industry giants: Väderstad, Husqvarna Group, Toyota Material Handling, and SAAB.
The seminar culminated with an enlightening presentation by Martin Helmfrid, the Head of Technology Strategy – Airframe and Vehicle Systems at SAAB. Moreover, the delegation enjoyed a networking lunch with members of the Cyberly network, including Link22, Sectra, and RISE, fortifying valuable discussions and connections.
During the afternoon, the group also had a tour of Actia, a cutting-edge technology company specializing in advanced connectivity solutions, allowing them to gain firsthand insights into Actia’s impressive technologies and services.
