The Position
Toyota Material Handling Europe is expanding our HR Advisory and Compensation & Benefits team with a Senior Specialist in Compensation & Benefits. This role is critical to leading our Pay Transparency Project across Europe, ensuring that our compensation policies are aligned with both strategic goals and regulatory requirements, including the new Pay Transparency Law. As a key player in our HR team, you’ll support our efforts to create a transparent, equitable, and competitive compensation structure across all levels.
In addition to leading pay transparency efforts, you will drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive job architecture framework across Toyota Material Handling Europe, establishing job families, levels, and career paths that enhance organizational clarity and consistency. This framework will streamline compensation structures, enabling us to retain and grow talent through competitive and transparent pay practices. Your role will also involve working closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategy and market standards.
In this role you will report to Veronique Lenaers, Director HR Advisory and Compensation & Benefits.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the European Pay Transparency Project, including developing frameworks, reporting dashboards, and compliance protocols.
- Perform detailed analysis of compensation data, conducting benchmarking and equity analysis to identify and address pay gaps.
- Oversee the development, harmonisation, and implementation of a job architecture framework, creating structured job families, levels, and career paths across departments.
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to align job structures with business strategy and market standards.
- Integrate career paths with skill development and competency-building programs in partnership with the People Engagement team.
- Facilitate training for HR teams and managers on navigating and using the job architecture framework.
Your Profile
- 7+ years of experience in compensation management and program management, ideally within a multinational organisation.
- Strong understanding of compensation benchmarking, pay structures, job evaluations, and equity analysis. Familiarity with Mercer evaluation is a merit.
- Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and compensation management tools, with experience in payroll software and human capital management systems.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
