As a Scrum Master at Cambio we believe you want to be part of developing awesome software as well as awesome people. You will work with several development teams where your skills and agile experiences will be highly valued. You will be enabling improvements, empowering individuals, and coaching in agile principles. Additionally, you will try to remove any impediments stopping the teams from becoming high performing units that have fun together while delivering high value to our customers. You will facilitate meetings/ceremonies like retrospectives and sprint plannings. You will work in close collaboration with the Product Owners in handling the product backlogs.
Cambio Platform department is new within Cambio R&D and is planned to continue to grow during next year. Currently we have two distributed development teams and one supporting team that need a Scrum master. The teams have members in Sweden (Linköping and Stockholm), United Kingdom, Poland, and Sri Lanka. Besides the Scrum master role, it will also be possible to work with project/release manager tasks for the department on a broader scale.
About you
You are an experienced Scrum Master and have leadership skills along with basic programming skills. We believe you are good at collaborating and motivating people. You will promote proper power balance between Product Owner team and management. We also expect you to moderate the team and shield them from distractions.
Requirements
To succeed in the role as Scrum Master at Cambio, we believe you have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or educational experience in a relevant field related to software engineering
You have experience coaching teams and individuals towards adopting agile processes and values. Of course, you also have good knowledge of agile methodologies and how to best apply them.
We also expect you to have good knowledge of software engineering in general. You are a person with a coaching mindset, and a genuine desire to help people.
We are an international team and you need to be fluent in speaking and writing in English.
It’s a bonus if you
It is a bonus if you have experience in coaching both distributed teams and individuals. We also think you will add additional value if you have knowledge and experience in project management. To better understand the teams, it is good if you have experience in quality assurance for platform/backend enterprise systems. The final bonus skill is knowledge about FHIR and/or open EHR.
