Product Management as a department is responsible for monitoring the market landscape and understanding customer needs, translating these into product requirements aimed to support our share and profit targets in the short and mid-term perspective. We are also responsible for developing a prioritized product plan and bringing this to the Management Team and related departments for decision and for execution. Product Management is responsible for bringing these products to the market together with other functions within the company and managing the process for an effective product introduction.

Our department manages the activities of supporting the network to ensure we maximize the sales and share opportunities from our products, including developing effective sales support tools, recommending activities with local product managers/sales management and/or centrally to stimulate sales and share.

Your challenge

Reporting to the Product Group Manager, as Product Manager you will be a key player within the Product Management team. You will be involved in leading and developing:

Effective measures to improve our market share
Input and support of product planning of new products and product developments with related departments
Support of product introduction process for new product and new feature introductions
Delivery of effective product training explaining the advantages of our offer to the markets/sales
Clear communication and product support to the sales network
Key market and sales statistics across Europe

Your profile

You are structured in how you organize your work and you are able to multitask in a number of projects/tasks at given moments. You are able to work with, analyze and process data to form opinion and suggest interpretation.

You are a clear communicator and you are able to work in, as well as lead, cross functional groups. Ideally you have either a commercial background with technical affinity, or technical background with commercial insight. Knowledge of internal material handling is useful. You speak and write English fluently and it is useful if you have knowledge of any additional language.

Location

The position is based in Mjölby, Sweden.
