The Position
In your role as a Product Manager, you are responsible for monitoring the market landscape and understanding customer needs, translating these into product requirements aimed to support our share and profit targets in the short and mid-term perspective. Our department is also responsible for developing a prioritized product plan and bringing this to the Management Team and related departments for decision and execution. We are responsible for bringing these products to the market together with other functions within Toyota Material Handling and managing the process for an effective product introduction.
In this role you are a key player within the Product Management team, managing activities and supporting the network to ensure we maximize the sales and share opportunities from our products. That includes developing effective sales support tools, activities with local product managers/sales management and/or centrally to stimulate sales and share.
As Product Manager you report to the Product Management Group Manager, Andreas Lindsjö.
Your challenge
- Work effectively to improve our market share
- Provide input and support of product planning of new products and product developments with related department.
- Drive product training explaining the advantages of our offer to the markets/sales
- Support of product introduction process for new product and new feature introductions.
- Reach out to the sales network with product support
- Provide Key market and sales statistics across Europe
Your Profile
- Ideally you have either a commercial background with technical affinity, or technical background with commercial insight
- You have the ability to work with, analyse and process data to form opinion and suggest interpretation.
- Strong personal drive and commitment, being comfortable driving multiple tasks with a critical mindset.
- You are a clear communicator, and able to work in, as well as lead, cross functional groups.
- Knowledge of internal material handling is useful.
- You speak and write English fluently and additional languages is an asset.
