The position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our great team. At Toyota Material Handling Europe, you will play a critical role in analysing large datasets, developing predictive models, and delivering actionable insights that drive business success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design and implement data-driven solutions that will take the company to the next level. In this role you report to the Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics Rikard Larsson.
Your responsibilities
- Build and refine predictive models and algorithms using AI and machine learning techniques
- Identify and solve complex business problems using data-driven approaches
- Work in our EDW platform with Snowflake & Snowpark and be a part of our central BI & Analytics team
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into value-adding solutions
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and continuously seek ways to apply new methodologies to improve processes and outcomes
- Support a data-driven culture
Your profile
- Proven experience as a data scientist or similar role, with a track record of delivering impactful data solutions
- Experience working in an agile environment, such as Scrum or similar
- You should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to understand and analyse very complex datasets
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
- Experience working in Snowflake and Microsoft environment
- Experience from an international work environment
- Fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English
- Degree in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field
