IndX is now opening its second focus area of 2026: Intelligent Organisations. Partner companies are looking for startups and scaleups developing technologies that can help turn data and intelligence into faster, smarter and more resilient operations.

The focus includes industrial sensing and data acquisition, Physical AI and Edge AI, real-time operational analytics, industrial cyber security and distributed data infrastructure.

From intelligence to action

Organisations today have access to more data, connected systems and intelligent technologies than ever before. The challenge is increasingly about how to turn that intelligence into action – closer to the machines, products, people and operations where decisions are actually made.

For IndX partner companies, this translates into a range of concrete challenges. How can industrial cloud and data infrastructure remain secure? How can energy use and charging adapt dynamically to operational needs? How can global organisations make better use of market and language intelligence? And how can digital tools better support engineering and product design?

Different challenges, but with a shared ambition: to make better use of data and intelligence in real operational environments.

Real challenges. New perspectives.

This is where startups and scaleups can bring something different.

IndX connects emerging technology companies with leading technology and industrial companies around real needs and challenges. Rather than looking for predefined solutions, the aim is to bring together different perspectives, explore what new technologies can enable and identify where there is potential to move forward together.

It is an approach that builds on Intelligent Machines, IndX’s first focus area of 2026. One of the clearest learnings was that the value goes beyond presenting promising technologies. It comes from creating the conditions for startups, scaleups and partner companies to understand each other’s needs, challenge assumptions and explore whether there is a genuine basis for continued collaboration.

Connect with the companies behind the challenges

Intelligent Organisations brings startups and scaleups into dialogue with IndX partner companies Saab, Toyota Material Handling Europe, Väderstad, SICK Sensor Intelligence, NIRA Dynamics, Hitachi Energy and Husqvarna Group around their real challenges and needs.

Relevant companies may be invited to connect directly with the partners – through focused meetings, digital conversations or by joining the partners for an in-person event in Linköping on 25 November.

The aim is not simply to present a solution, but to explore whether there is a meaningful fit. That could lead to a new insight, a technology worth investigating further, a proof of concept – or the beginning of a longer collaboration.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for startups and scaleups with relevant technologies and capabilities within areas including:

  • Industrial sensing and data acquisition
  • Physical AI and Edge AI
  • Real-time operational analytics
  • Industrial cyber security
  • Distributed data infrastructure

If your technology can help organisations turn intelligence into faster, smarter or more resilient operations, we want to hear from you.
