The Paradigm Shifts We Are Exploring

In this hackathon you have the opportunity to explore world-changing paradigm shifts that are based on a combination of AI with other potent technologies.

AI + Combinatorial Optimization: The applicability of Combinatorial Optimization tools have been limited by the difficulty to specify mathematical constraints, especially for business managers that are not trained in optimization theory. LLMs can bridge the communication gap between natural language and mathematical constraints. This opens up the possibility of making use of combinatorial optimization engines to automate many business planning processes that have had to be handled manually in the past.

AI + Composable Software: Composable Software Development platforms, such as Low-code and No-code platforms, can be enhanced with AI that understands system architecture to enable generation of complete enterprise-grade systems from a specification written in natural language.

AI + Communication: Omni-Channel Communication Platforms can be used to enable direct natural language interactions with systems, so users are no longer restricted to only interact with the system via traditional menu navigation and filling in forms.

AI + Simulations: Digital Twins can be built much faster, for lower cost and with higher fidelity because of AI-generation tools that can understand the dynamics of physical objects as well as natural language instructions on what aspects of the physical world to model.

AI + IoT: AI transforms IoT devices into smarter units by predicting maintenance, optimizing energy, and automating tasks, creating an interconnected environment that enhances efficiency.

AI + Systems Monitoring: AI enhances systems monitoring with predictive analytics and real-time decision-making, improving reliability and reducing downtime by proactively managing system health.

Team Formation

Team Size: Teams at our hackathons often consist of 2 to 6 members. There is no upper limit, but it gets hard to coordinate with too many members.

Already got a team? Make sure every member registers individually and specifies the team they belong to. This helps us understand who belongs to each team and ensures we can communicate effectively with all participants.

We will carefully review all applications and assemble teams based on the skills and experiences provided, as well as the paradigm shifts and tracks you would like to explore. This ensures that teams are well-rounded and prepared for the hackathon.
