Tech Tuesday: A growing stage for technology, insights and collaboration
Tech Tuesday is Linköping Science Park’s recurring lunch seminar where companies present ongoing development, technical themes and applied innovation. During autumn 2025, the stage featured a broad mix of organisations from the regional tech landscape. Presenters include Nira Dynamics, Sectra, SICK IVP , Ericsson, Combitech and, most recently, Swisslog, the new kid on the block in Mjärdevi.
Why attend Tech Tuesday?
Tech Tuesday is aimed at professionals working within technology and innovation. Engineers, developers, project leaders and specialists from companies across the park attend to follow current topics, and hear from peers. The live format supports dialogue and connection in the community and invites networking surrounding each Tuesday’s selected topic.
Swisslog: Established in automation, new in Mjärdevi
At the latest session, Swisslog introduced their work as a global actor in warehouse automation and a new member of the Mjärdevi environment. The company is establishing a Technology Center Office in Linköping, complementing the production site in Boxholm.
“Linköping is a good place to be if you want to work close to talent and innovation,” says Jonas Karlström, Managing Director of Swisslog Technology Center Sweden. The proximity to Linköping University is a key part of that. Swisslog has previously arranged case evenings together with Maskinteknologerna and sees continued collaboration with students and faculty as an important part of its local presence.
Several employees are already connecting with the community. HR representative Linda participates in the park’s HR network, and the team has taken part in local activities such as the Mjärdevistafetten.
During the session, Lena Löök and Ludvig Garemark presented the company’s digital approach to warehouse planning. They walked the audience through how digital models, configuration tools and layout environments support early-stage design and evaluation. After the presentation, many attendees remained to continue discussions with the team.
Looking ahead to spring ‘26
Work on the spring programme is underway. Tech Tuesday will continue to highlight companies active in automation, AI, hardware, software, digital engineering, materials technology and related fields. The format welcomes both established organisations and newer companies who want to contribute perspectives to the Science Park community.
