AI Competence for Municipalities of the Future
The project aims to bridge the “implementation gap” in the public sector, which is the difference between the technical potential of AI and municipalities’ actual organizational capacity to implement and use the technology in day-to-day operations. Instead of offering standalone, theoretical training, the project integrates skills development with practical application, change management, and cross-municipal learning to create lasting changes in working methods.
To strengthen employees’ competence and municipalities’ capacity to understand, use, and implement AI in regular work processes, leading to improved and more efficient services. The project encompasses approximately 20 municipalities and targets a total of 600 participants.
