IndX is pleased to welcome Hans Larsson as our new Strategic Advisor and Consultant. With more than 25 years at Toyota Material Handling Europe — including eight years as Director of Strategic Innovation — Hans brings deep industrial experience and a long-standing commitment to collaborative innovation.

Hans has been closely involved in IndX since its inception in 2019, representing Toyota as one of the founding corporate partners. Throughout this time, he has contributed to shaping the platform’s approach to industrial collaboration and cross-partner engagement. As he now transitions into retirement from Toyota Material Handling Europe, IndX is glad to continue the collaboration in a new form.

Supporting IndX’s continued development

Hans joins IndX at a time when industrial companies face ongoing transformation driven by automation, digitalisation and new models for collaboration. These shifts reinforce the importance of structured, long-term partnerships between large companies and innovative startups — something IndX has focused on since day one.

With these developments in mind, Hans’s experience will support the continued development of IndX, particularly in maintaining strong alignment and constructive collaboration across the partner group.

He reflects:

“IndX has been like my baby from the very beginning. I’m thrilled to see it take the next step and continue to grow. Over the years, we’ve built a strong foundation with record growth and seven core corporate partners, and I’m excited about the potential for even more.”

And further:

“Innovation today isn’t just about technology — it’s about creating the right structures for collaboration. IndX has proven that startups and industry leaders can co-create real value, and I look forward to supporting that work going forward.”

Looking ahead

Today, IndX brings together seven corporate partners and has engaged with more than 600 startups globally since its start. It also serves as a platform for the partner companies to exchange insights, explore emerging technologies and address shared challenges. As the platform continues to evolve in response to new industrial opportunities and needs, Hans’s experience will contribute to maintaining strong alignment and constructive collaboration among the partners.

IndX now looks forward to the next chapter — building on a solid foundation, clear direction and continued trust between partners, startups and the wider innovation landscape.
