In May, Linköping Science Park’s international startup collaboration platform IndX will invite 15-20 tech startups to connect with representatives from IndX partners Husqvarna Group, Toyota Material Handling Europe, Saab, SICK, Nira Dynamics, Hitachi Energy and Väderstad.

The focus will be on operational innovation, connecting young companies driving advancements in smart manufacturing and supply chains with IndX partners to collaborate and enhance competitiveness in development processes and on the factory floor. Startups are invited based on their alignment with the partners’ needs, ranging from digital intelligence and sensor technologies to optimizing the placement of materials and tools for operators.

Startup Scout and Program Manager Robin Eriksson explains:

“Participants- both partner representatives and pitching startups – can look forward to a dynamic day with keynotes and presentations. Startups will get an opportunity to deep dive into speed dating sessions with partners.”

Outcome from IndX

IndX has facilitated a wide range of collaborations. For example, DAZOQ partnered with Väderstad, Toyota Material Handling and Siemens Energy to install energy consumption sensors, helping them monitor and optimize their energy use.

Another pilot project involved WearHealth, whose wearable was in Husqvarna Group and Väderstad’s operations to enhance workplace safety. Additionally, startups have been invited to exclusive partner events, such as WareBee´s participation in Toyota Material Handling’s Logiconomi event.
