Linköping is the first Swedish city to win the iCapital Awards in the European Rising Innovative City category!
In Linköping, the future is always present. A city where world-leading research and groundbreaking innovations contribute to a better tomorrow, where the university, the municipality, civil society and the business community work together to make ideas a reality. We are now 166,700 inhabitants, and by 2065, we expect to be 250,000. Over the past decade, the population has increased by almost 20,000, making Linköping one of Sweden’s fastest-growing and most constantly growing cities.
Below, you can follow the launching event of the iCapital Awards 2024 in Linköping in a live stream. Representatives from the European Commission (EISMEA), Linköping Municipality, Linköping University, Linköping Science Park and some of Linköping’s innovative companies will participate.
