On September 10, the regional Startup World Cup competition took place in Mjärdevi, Linköping, where ten promising startups from across Sweden pitched their ideas live to a national jury. The winner of the regional event earns a spot in the Global Grand Finale in San Francisco this October, where they will compete against over 70 other regional winners from around the globe for a USD 1 million investment prize.

Stilfold took the top spot, with Jonas Nyvang presenting their innovative curve, folding technology inspired by origami principles, reducing weight and waste in the manufacturing and transportation industry. Runner up was Digiclean.

“We’re excited to see both Dyno Robotics and Stilfold, former IndX selected companies, participate in the competition. We wish Stilfold the best of luck in the global finals,” says Robin Eriksson, program manager IndX. IndX is a startup innovation arena that connects small companies with global giants within industry 4.0, a program facilitated by Linköping Science Park.
