AGRITECHNICA, 9–15 November in Hannover, Germany, is the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery. The trade fair takes place every second year. At AGRITECHNICA 2025, the Nordic Innovation Pavilion will make its premiere. Visit us in Halle 24, stand F16.

Why Nordic Innovation Matters

Developments in agriculture since the 1950s are impressive. Satellite technology, field robots, AI-integrated systems and drones have become natural elements. At the same time agriculture is facing increasing global challenges. These cannot be met by improvements alone. The key is expanding the innovation power.

A host of new machines, methods, concepts, and services are on the verge of revolutionizing agriculture – and the Nordic countries are at the forefront in several areas. Companies like Agrointelli (Denmark), Valtra (Finland), Väderstad (Sweden) and Nofence (Norway) are well known. Still, there are also other interesting examples, of which we will present a nice selection in the Nordic Innovation Pavilion.

The secret behind the Nordic countries’ innovation successes is collaboration between companies, institutes, advisory bodies, and universities. Platforms for new contacts, dialogue and exchange of urgent needs and innovative ideas play an important role as well.
Elmia, one of the largest fair organizers in the Nordic region, for example, helps to connect people and stimulates innovative development through its awards to innovative companies.

The Nordic Innovation Pavilion at AGRITECHNICA 2025

For the first time, a multi-country pavilion is presented at AGRITECHNICA. In this unique pavilion, four countries join forces, and the focus is purely on innovation. We will showcase the innovative power that exists in Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. In the pavilion, you will experience fantastic innovations of different kinds, and you can meet with innovation promoters. At the pavilion, you can also get information about other stands at AGRITECHNICA that represent the Nordic Innovation Power, so the Nordic Innovation Pavilion will function like a communication hub and portal to Nordic agtech.
