On 29 January, you are welcome to listen to a lecture with Professor Astrid Linder from VTI. The British BBC named her one of the world’s 100 most influential and inspiring women in 2023.
Traffic safety, models of the human in crash testing, injury prevention and crash related countermeasures are main fields of Astrid Linder´s research in which she has extensively published and presented around the world.
Astrid Linder is Professor of Traffic Safety at Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute, VTI, and an Adjunct Professor of Injury Prevention at Chalmers University and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University Accident Research Centre, Melbourne, Australia. She has led the team that developed the world’s first seat evaluation tool, crash test dummy, based on an average female.
Since 2014, LiU has had strategic collaboration agreements with eight important partners. We want to give you the opportunity to get to know them through a series of lectures called “LiU Strategic Partner Talks”. The hope is to spark new ideas and initiatives for collaboration.
