Innovating for Everyone: Lunch and Inspirational Talk on Gendered Innovation with Prof. Londa Schiebinger, Stanford University
- 28 Oct 2025, 12:00-13:00
- Gradängen Collegium, Teknikringen 7, 583 30 Linköping (Hybrid)
Join us for an inspirational talk followed by a hands-on workshop, and discover how applying intersectional thinking can lead to more inclusive products, services, and business strategies – while unlocking new ideas, technologies, and markets.
How can your business gain from broader perspectives? What intersectional factors are important for your company or venture? In today’s fast-changing market, innovation thrives at the intersection of technology, diversity, and design. The goal of intersectional design is to add value to business by developing new ideas, patents, and technologies, while enhancing social equity by making products and services that meet the needs of everyone across all of society.
What to expect
Prof. Londa Schiebinger will give a 30-minute talk introducing the concepts and tools developed by the Gendered Innovations research group at Stanford University. This will be followed by a hands-on, on site workshop where participants can apply these tools in real-world settings.
