Welcome to the lecture series Research just around the corner, which in 2025 celebrates 50 years of Linköping University.
Eight lectures will be held during the spring, and everyone interested is welcome to come and listen! The lectures will take place in Lövverket in the Student House at Campus Valla. All sessions will be filmed and streamed.

AI – Today and Tomorrow
AI has made impressive progress the last 10 years. Linköping University has done research on AI since its start 50 years ago. What are some of the major achievements so far and what can we expect from AI in the coming decades?
With Fredrik Heintz, professor at the Department of Computer and Information Science (IDA). He is Head of the Division of Artificial Intelligence and Integrated Systems (AIICS), and leads the Reasoning and Learning unit (REAL).
