East Sweden Hack is back for the fifth consequtive year and this time with a little twist. The hackathon is a melting pot for developers, designers and motivated people from both Sweden and abroad, where they are given the opportunity to put their heads together for a weekend to create new IoT-solutions within Human interaction & integration, Healthcare & Medical Care, Energy & Sustainability and Civil Environment & Transportation.
This year’s hackathon will take place during the Future and Innovation themed weekend as a part of Vallastaden 2017 – the biggest urban living expo to ever be held in Sweden. East Sweden Hack will set camp in the midst of the pulsing expo September 8th through the 10th. During this time, the participating teams will collaborate and develop a new product that will be evaluated by a jury at the end of the weekend.

East Sweden Hack is not only a stimulating experience for the participating teams but for the thousand of expo visitors that are expected to visit Vallastaden 2017 as well. Throughout the weekend, there will be a continiously streaming schedule of inspiring lectures on the topic City of the Future.
