Want to become a member?

The cluster is only open to registered organizations in Sweden that offer digital security solutions, use such products or services in their offerings, or for whom digital security is a critical element of their operations according to the criteria below.

The company/organization must have an office in Sweden. Upon approved membership, all employees of the company in Sweden may participate in any number of activities, as well as working groups and forms of collaboration, unless otherwise specified in connection with a particular activity.

How it works

In addition to the benefits available to the open network (newsletters, mailings, and open meetings), cluster members can:

  • Participate in member meetings where discussions take place in smaller groups with greater trust and space to share experiences and knowledge with each other.
  • Propose themes, co-create, or host member meetings or other activities.
  • Create and participate in groups that collaborate around a theme where members share interests or challenges.
  • Participate in national activities and gain access to international collaboration.
  • Share news or offers with the entire network during meetings and through the Cyberly newsletter and website.

To be eligible for membership, a company or organization must:

  • Be registered in Sweden. A foreign company must have a permanent establishment in Sweden that is not solely a sales organization.
  • Conduct activities that support the goals of Sweden’s national security.
  • Demonstrate consistently high business ethics toward employees, suppliers, competitors, cluster members, as well as in procurements and customer relations.
  • Have a stable financial position and not have any unpaid taxes or fees with authorities in Sweden or abroad.
  • Provide accurate information about ownership and operations.
  • Act in a way that does not harm the interests of the Cyberly cluster or its members.
  • Ensure that its representatives have a clean record and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Appoint an employee to represent the company and act as a contact person, responsible for sharing information with other employees.

Membership requires an annual fee.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) eligible to receive de minimis aid, do not pay a fee, but must instead sign a document confirming that the membership has been granted as EU state aid.

Other companies and organizations pay a fee of SEK 15,000 per year; alternatively – in kind – they commit to:
– Providing a three-hour training session per year through our Cyberly Academy, where members educate one another.

Application

The Cluster Council makes a comprehensive assessment of the application based on the membership criteria as well as information obtained through background checks of the applying company/organization and its representatives, and reserves the right to reject applications without providing a reason.

Any membership refusals cannot be appealed.

A member may end their membership and leave the cluster at any time with immediate effect by notifying the cluster leader of such a request. The annual fee will not be refunded but will also not be renewed.
