For more than 35 years, our team at SICK Linköping has successfully developed and delivered software for technically leading products within the field of 2D and 3D vision, as well as system solutions for i.e. robot guidance and quality control.

What you will do

The SW 3D Camera Team consist of 14 developers that together forms a cross-functional software team that is responsible for our Ranger/Ruler products. A Ranger/Ruler is a 3D camera based on the laser triangulation principle. We work in a continuous integration (CI) environment with a high degree of test automation on target.

The summer internship is about developing/improving our automated test system, an integral part of our CI environment. If you are interested in SW development, curious how a modern CI integration workflow is setup, and want to be part of our continuous improvements efforts, you are welcome!

You need

  • You have finished at least your bachelor degree at University level with a relevant profile such as Technical Physics, Software Development, Computer Science or Media Techniques.
  • You need knowledge in C++, C#, Python and Git. If you also have experience Java and SWIG we find that extra valuable.
