You have the opportunity to join a dynamic team with a focus on continuous learning that will be assigned a backlog and work to develop and improve one or several of Sectra’s medical products. As a summer intern you will get the chance to practice what you know. You will get the opportunity to join the development department at Sectra Medical and help us become better.
This is a great opportunity to experience real life software development and the results will be implemented in products used at customer sites and make a difference to patients all over the world.

Qualifications
An interest in software development is an asset, but at Sectra we hire people for who they are and for their willingness and ability to learn, rather than for their previous experience.
We are looking for candidates in two different disciplines:
- Software development
- Technical information
For the position within Software development, we have the following requirements:
- Ongoing studies for a Master’s degree with an excellent academic record
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- You are curious about new technology and a strong problem solver
- You love teamwork
- You have great programming skills
- You have a willingness to improve and are eager to learn and you like to share your knowledge with those around you
- Ability to write clean/readable code following best practices and coding standards
- You value quality and know what it means to deliver high-quality code
For the position within Technical information, we have the following requirements:
- Ongoing studies for a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- You are curious about new technology and passionate about documenting it
- You are great at written communication
- You have a willingness to improve and are eager to learn and you like to share your knowledge with those around you
- You have the ability to write concise and clear technical information following a style guide
- You value quality and know what it means to deliver information with quality
Assets
Most of all, we are looking for an open, passionate person who shares our values, is a true team player and will enjoy working with us at Sectra.
In addition, we consider it an asset if you also:
- Have experience in software development or testing
- Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, crocheting, music, dance, singing, horseback riding, or anything else that you feel passionate about
- Speak more languages than those required above
- Have experience with other cultures
