What you will do

The summer internship is about creating prototypes of solutions to Machine Vision application needs, using the SICK image processing algorithm library in AppSpace. SICK AppSpace is a new software concept for App development in our programmable 2D and 3D smart cameras, where the customer can develop the application software using an API in the SICK AppStudio development tool. The work includes image acquisition, image analysis by scripting (Lua-API), graphical user interface and documentation. Your work will contribute to our R&D development of a tool plug-in concept.

You need

  • Experience in programming, at least at scripting level (Lua, Matlab, Python or similar).
  • Knowledge in signal and image processing or in Human Machine Interface is qualifying for the job.
