About Linköping Science Park
Linköping Science Park is a world-class innovation hotspot – with 14 000 brilliant minds and more than 600 companies inspiring Linköping – and the globe – with technology, services and an explorative mindset. It is the home of leading tech companies such as Sectra, IFS and Veoneer, as well as pioneering startups like Amra, XM Reality and Dazoq. It is a place where businesses grow and break frontiers in close collaboration with academia and talents.
One of the biggest challenges companies face today is the lack of talent. Linköping Science Park actively works to facilitate the attraction of talent and support the companies. To connect the students from Linköping University with the business in our region is therefore an important task! We believe that utilising international talent is one of the solutions to the challenges we face. Since 2022 Linköping Science Park runs the national, Vinnova funded, program Switch to Sweden. The aim is to increase the number of qualified matches between international academic talent that is already in Sweden and recruiting companies. Read more about Switch to Sweden.
As a student employee you will focus on reaching out to international students, networks and universities. You will support the project Switch to Sweden with your student perspective and also be a representative voice of the international students in the project. You will help with the promotion and expansion of the communication reach of the project.
We think you have a great interest in people and relations. You have a good network with international students from different backgrounds at Linköping University and maybe also several other universities in Sweden. As a person you are able to work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks. You are good at communicating, both writing and speaking. As a student employee you will work with the rest of the team of Switch to Sweden, good team work is therefore needed.
To become a student employee, you are required to begin your final year of education next academic year. The working hours are adapted to the studies but will be approximately 20-25% calculated on a full-time basis during two semesters. Throughout the assignment, you have a supervisor.
