Main responsibilities:
ACTIA Nordic is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to our Tech Center in Mjärdevi, Linköping. As a Hardware Engineer, you will design electronics for the automotive industry. This is a challenging but rewarding task. The field of technology where we are present, is known for their high reliability requirements and low-cost pricing. Your task is to navigate these murky waters, and participate in the entire hardware development cycle: from pre-studies to the start of production of your own designed hardware.
We use Orcad CIS for the schematic design and Altium Designer for our PCB-design. Furthermore, simulations, calculations and DFMEA are important methods to us, for achieving excellent results.
At the moment, ACTIA is currently developing our new, generic telematic platform, known as the ACU-6. This platform will be introduced to the light vehicle segment, heavy truck, asset management and super car sector in the coming year.
We think you have the following background:
To succeed in the role, we believe that you are an avid problem solver. You have some kind of engineering degree, and experience from working in international projects. Furthermore, you must speak fluent English, since a lot of our customers and colleagues are English-speaking. One of the most important things for us, is that you are passionate about what you do. Maybe you have some cool side projects, that you tend to when you are at home. Passion is very important to us.
Experience from the automotive industry is a merit.
