You will help bring our games (Core Keeper, Kyora, …) to PC and consoles: building platform-specific features, wrestling certification requirements, improving build pipelines, hunting performance problems (and generally making sure the game does not explode when moved onto unfamiliar hardware).
More importantly: This is not just a “receive task, complete task” role. You will have real influence over how we structure the work, what tools we build, and how this function grows inside Pugstorm!
Based in Linköping, with flexible work-from-home options.
You should probably have:
– 4+ years of software-development experience, ideally in games
– Strong engineering fundamentals
– The ability to debug (sometimes horrible) problems
– A good eye for technical requirements and documentation
– The ability to work both independently and closely with a team
Extra excellent if you have experience with:
– Unity
– Console porting and certification
– CPU, GPU, memory or hardware-specific optimization
– Rendering pipelines
– CI/CD and automated builds
– GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity or similar
– PlayFab or other network-service integrations
You’d be joining a highly experienced, ambitious and unusually lovely team, and helping us make sure our games are genuinely great wherever people play them.
