We are looking for a versatile and motivated software developer to strengthen our Plug-In Framework group. Softube is a dynamic, fast growing company on a mission – to find the best way to make music with a computer, using our scientific wizardry and our love for music.
Position Details and Application
The position is full-time, on-site at Softube headquarters in Linköping Sweden, and we would like to fill this position as soon as possible. EU and UK citizen applicants are very welcome, many of our current employees are from other countries than Sweden, and English is spoken at the office. The Plug-In Framework team handles everything that makes our plug-ins run like support for different operating systems, graphics frameworks, plug-in formats (VST2/VST3/AU/AAX) etc. We create the GUIs for new products, implement new features and are often the first in line to debug any problems that show up.
Work task includes
- Graphical UI programming.
- Advanced usage of C++.
- Developing new features.
- Troubleshooting in a large codebase.
- Integrating external libraries.
- Code refactoring.
- Relevant degree.
- At least 2 years working with software development.
- Good knowledge of C/C++.
- Experience working with large projects codebases and external APIs.
- English language, both in text and speech.
- Experience of automatic testing.
- Knowledge and experience in music production.
- Knowledge and experience of the music software industry, plug-ins, DAWs.
