WHAT YOU’LL DO?
As a Laboratory Engineer, you will work in our team for Design & Product verification. The team plans and executes environmental tests of our vision systems during different project phases to verify design and the final product.
You will be responsible for maintenance of the equipment in the laboratory. This includes calibration, service and repair as well as documentation according to our standards and routines. You will work close together with the Laboratory Manager and the Test Engineers, the users of the equipment. Some facility tasks are included and you will also be involved in work safety reviews and activities.
You will plan your own work and have a lot of freedom to set your own agenda for the day. Even if you have the sole role as the Laboratory Engineer you will be a part of the test team and also have the opportunity to co-operate with the Test Engineers. In this role you will have contact with several persons and external suppliers. Maintaining contacts and network is important.
The laboratory handles a wide range of test activities within several competence areas, such as climate, mechanical, optical, EMC and electrical testing. This will give you a broad understanding of several test equipment types and their requirements and specifications.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
We are looking for you that with an open mindset can work independently and like to have many things going around at the same time. Therefore, you are well organized in your way of working but also like routines and structures around you. Quality is a key word for you. Whenever a practical task is needed, you’re not afraid of handle that.
Information and documentation is maintained in electronic data bases and you must have experience of using data tools and systems as well as MS Office programs.
Experience of similar test equipment and especially equipment for heating and cooling are meriting.
