We are looking for a curious and passionate SW developer to join our team being responsible for and developing SICK’s world-leading 3D cameras based on laser triangulation technology.
About the team
The team is responsible for the software related to our 3D cameras. The responsibility is vertical, meaning that we work from requirement to deployment of the features that a customer can download and use. We work in an agile way in a cross-functional team with Continuous Integration (CI) and a high degree of automated testing. We work in teams that are characterized by low prestige, “helping each other” spirit and a will to continuously improve. Everyone in the team has their own set of camera and peripherals on their desks for realistic testing and for quick feedback on what they have developed.
About the job
You will be part of the software team that is responsible for the software related to our 3D Cameras. As part of this team, you will be in an environment where we develop the camera embedded Linux firmware (C++, VHDL), a programming API on the PC receiver side (C++, C#), example programs (C++, C#) and a graphical configuration tool (C#). Example of tools we use are: git, Jenkins, Gradle, CMAKE, Docker, MS VS and Eclipse.
You need
Good programming skills where you are familiar with the languages C#, C++, Java and Python. A number of years of experience as a SW developer is beneficial but not a requirement.
